A 21-year previous Indian pupil was killed after sustaining a number of gunshot wounds following a taking pictures on the entrance of a subway station in Canada’s Toronto metropolis whereas he was on his strategy to work, based on police in Toronto.

Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar expressed grief on the killing.

“Grieved by this tragic incident. Deepest condolences to the household,” Jaishankar tweeted.

Vasudev’s brother informed CP24 information channel he was a pupil at Seneca School and was taking the subway to his job when he was killed.

He arrived in Canada in January.

Seneca School stated Vasudev was enrolled in its advertising and marketing administration programme.

“The Seneca neighborhood is saddened to listen to of the tragic loss of life of Kartik Vasudev, a first-semester Advertising Administration pupil,” a spokesperson stated in an announcement.

“Our ideas are with Mr Vasudev’s household, pals and classmates. Counselling assist is being made out there to college students and staff.” Police stated the suspect within the taking pictures is a Black male standing five-foot-six to five-foot-seven inches tall with a medium construct.
