Police Make Terrifying Discovery On Trump Property

This is not good.

Security concerns intensified at President Donald Trump’s Southern California golf club after federal and local authorities arrested a California man who was allegedly documenting security operations ahead of the president’s planned visit. Investigators later uncovered what they described as a significant cache of weapons and tactical equipment during a search of the suspect’s home, prompting a joint investigation involving the FBI and the U.S. Secret Service.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Jeanine John Taele of Downey, 38, was arrested Sunday at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes after plainclothes federal agents allegedly observed him walking around the property while taking photographs and recording videos. Authorities said his actions appeared to involve monitoring security preparations before President Trump’s expected arrival.

Deputies from the Lomita Sheriff’s Station responded to the scene at approximately 3:30 p.m. During their investigation, they discovered Taele was already under investigation by the El Segundo Police Department in connection with a separate robbery case.

According to investigators, deputies conducting a pat-down allegedly discovered a loaded magazine containing ammunition in Taele’s pocket. A subsequent search of his vehicle, parked at the golf club, reportedly uncovered a loaded handgun with a round in the chamber, as well as an additional loaded magazine filled with ammunition.

Taele was apprehended after police believe he was carrying a hidden firearm and possessing illegal ammunition.

The investigation quickly expanded beyond the initial arrest. Detectives assigned to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Major Crimes Bureau, working with the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, secured a search warrant for Taele’s residence in Downey.

During the court-authorized search, authorities said they seized an illegally altered AR-platform rifle, a .45-caliber 1911 handgun, an AR upper receiver, body armor, several high-capacity magazines, a large supply of rifle and pistol ammunition, two radio communication devices, and multiple notebooks containing what investigators described as troubling written statements.

Officials have not publicly disclosed the contents of those writings, but investigators said the materials became part of the ongoing federal investigation.

The case is now being handled jointly by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, and the U.S. Secret Service, which is responsible for protecting the president and investigating potential threats involving current and former presidents.

Investigators also indicated that additional criminal charges could be filed as the case moves forward.

On Tuesday, detectives presented the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, which will determine what formal charges, if any, should be filed. Taele remains in custody while prosecutors review the evidence gathered during the investigation.

Although authorities emphasized they have not identified a credible threat to the surrounding community, officials stressed that the investigation remains active as they continue examining the suspect’s activities, the recovered weapons, and any possible motive.

The incident highlights the extensive security operations that accompany presidential visits and the multiple layers of protection coordinated by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. Any suspicious activity near locations visited by the president is routinely investigated to determine whether it poses a legitimate security concern.

Investigators have not announced whether Taele specifically intended to target President Trump or anyone else, and officials have released no evidence establishing a motive at this stage. Law enforcement agencies say they will continue reviewing the evidence before determining whether additional charges are appropriate.

Fox News Digital reported that it reached out to the FBI, the U.S. Secret Service, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the El Segundo Police Department, and Trump National Golf Club for comment. As of publication, the investigation remains ongoing, and authorities say additional information could be released as the case develops.
