A 74-year-old man who tried to die by suicide in Mumbai’s Matunga was stopped by the police after his daughter, who lives within the US, dialled the native police to rapidly intervene.

The person has been admitted in a hospital in a critical situation, a police officer stated right now.

Police had been alerted in regards to the incident at 5 pm right now by the person’s 42-year-old daughter, who lives in Texas, the officer stated.

“The Matunga East resident had knowledgeable his daughter earlier than taking this step, and had additionally informed her he had written a suicide be aware and made a will,” the officer stated.
