Former Amnesty Worldwide India chief Aakar Patel was stopped from boarding a flight to the US at Bengaluru Airport at this time.
Mr Patel took to Twitter and stated that he was on a Look Out Round (LOC) in reference to a case filed towards Amnesty India Worldwide by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The CBI had filed a case towards Amnesty Worldwide India and three of its affiliate organisations in November, 2019, following a grievance lodged by the Dwelling Ministry for alleged violation of the availability of the International Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 and the Indian Penal Code.
The case was registered towards Amnesty Worldwide India Pvt Ltd (AIIPL), Indians For Amnesty Worldwide Belief (IAIT), Amnesty Worldwide India Basis Belief (AIIFT), Amnesty Worldwide South Asia Basis (AISAF) and others.
