Russia’s defence ministry warned on Friday it’ll intensify assaults on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv in response to strikes on Russian soil, after accusing Ukraine of concentrating on Russian border cities.

“The quantity and scale of missile strikes in opposition to targets in Kyiv will improve in response to any terrorist assaults or sabotage dedicated by the Kyiv nationalist regime on Russian territory,” the ministry stated in a press release.

Russia hit a “navy” manufacturing facility exterior Kyiv late Thursday utilizing Kalibr sea-based long-range missiles, it added.

The ministry additional stated its strategic rocket forces “eradicated as much as 30 Polish mercenaries” in a strike on the village of Izyumskoe, not removed from the town of Kharkiv.
