Russia should be held accountable for Ukraine civilian deaths: Trudeau

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has condemned the “egregious and appalling” killings of civilians within the Ukrainian city of Bucha, saying Russia should be held to account.

“We strongly condemn the homicide of civilians in Ukraine, stay dedicated to holding the Russian regime accountable,” Trudeau wrote on Twitter.

“These accountable for these egregious and appalling assaults can be dropped at justice,” he added.


EU should focus on import ban on Russian fuel: German minister

Germany’s defence minister has stated the European Union should focus on banning the import of Russian fuel after Ukrainian and European officers accused Russian forces of committing atrocities close to Kyiv.

“There must be a response. Such crimes should not stay unanswered,” the defence ministry quoted Christine Lambrecht as saying in an interview with the general public broadcaster, ARD.
